Wedding Photography at Dunglass Estate
This was my first time at Dunglass Estate and I was blown away with it’s beauty. The grounds are a photographers dream and it has it’s own little stone chapel along with a beautiful country house for the bridal preparations.
It was Rebecca & Kevin’s big day. Rebecca and the girls got their hair and make up done in the cute little lodge behind the house whilst Kevin and the boys relaxed in one of the other suites in the courtyard.
I had arrived early to get my bearings and it was almost enchanting…there was a slight fog around the estate which gave it a magical fairy tale feel. Once the girls were ready we were popping champagne in the garden and getting into the swing of it all.
As the little chapel is situated on the grounds it is just a short buggy ride over from the house and a lovely walk up the path to the chapel which makes for beautiful photographs.
Kevin was getting emotional waiting on his bride and struggled to hold back the tears when he saw Rebecca walking down. The ceremony was beautifully intimate and a few light hearted laughs were heard.
After the ceremony we came outside for big confetti tunnel with all the guests which was great fun. I took the bridal around the grounds for the bridal portraits and I really was spoiled for choice as there are so many beautiful locations to choose from.
We then headed back over to the courtyard to get some family pictures and mingle with the guests. After speeches and dinner, Rebecca & Kevin were keen to get back out for some more pictures. We had all the colours of the rainbow in smoke flares and the pictures are just epic.
The day was finished off with the dancing and it really was the most magical day!

Eloise & Jamie get married at the stunning Balbirnie House Hotel
Eloise & Jamie
Eloise and Jamie got married at the stunning Balbirnie House Hotel. It was a lovely calm morning when I arrived and everyone kept commenting on the storm that was forecast but ever the optimist, I just couldn’t see it happening.
Eloise and the girls had a lovely morning getting ready, it was calm and relaxed and everything ran smoothly and on time. Eloise looked elegant and beautiful when she put on her dress and we got some gorgeous bridal portraits of her. It was emotional for all when dad came up to see his little girl all ready to walk down the aisle and he was given a lovely gift from her.
The ceremony was delivered beautifully by celebrant Alexis McKenzie and we all headed out onto the Balbirnie stairs for the iconic group shot followed by a confetti shot.
Then out of nowhere…a big gust of wind almost took us off our feet! The storm had arrived. Thankfully for me the newly weds were happy to stay outside and continue with their photos. The wind did make for some epic veil blowing shots and had us laughing all the way through.
Then it was onto mingling with the guests, and then the evening entertainment which was provided by the band the Stylists who had everyone up on the dancefloor to boogie into the small hours.
Wedding Photography at Cameron House Hotel
Olivia & Kyle
It was a crisp October day and Autumn was was glowing with all of it’s beauty on the banks of Loch Lomond. Olivia and Kyle were all set to be married at the iconic Cameron House Hotel.
Olivia got ready in the bridal suite over looking the loch with her mum and 4 bridesmaids. I arrived and captured all of Olivia’s details, her dress and her stunning Jimmy Choo shoes. The girls were all in good spirits as we popped the prosecco and took some pyjama shots.
I left the girls to put on their dresses and went to find the boys…at the bar of course.
Olivia’s dad walked her down the aisle to Kyle and the happy couple took their vows. The weather was perfect for October and all the colours of Autumn reflected off the Loch, it was and absolute dream for me.
We started on the photo shoot right away and got some stunning pictures with the loch glistening in the background. Olivia and Kyle both don’t particularly like a lot of photo’s so I made sure to be fast and efficient while not missing any of the wonderful scenery.
The couple mingled with their guests for a while before heading into speeches and dinner. Olivia had a stunning gown to change into for the evening celebrations and we were joined by Tartan Entertainment who had the dancefloor bouncing as usual.
Wedding Photography at Lochside House Hotel
Debra & James
It was the beginning of September and one of the hottest day’s of the year! It was the wedding day of Debra & James at the fabulous Lochside House Hotel. It was all go as Debra and the girls got hair and make up in the hotel whilst the boys took their time in the hot tubs down at the lodges.
We were in the stunning new bridal suite to pop some champagne and do some shots (not me of course!) before the girls slipped into their dresses. Once they were all ready we set up a reveal shot with Debra and the bridesmaids and everyone was in awe at how stunning Debra looked in her dress.
The ceremony was lovely with music from Alex Graham on piano and afterwards we all headed out onto the patio to enjoy the sunshine. We took some pictures around the grounds and the bridal party were on top form, it was a laugh a minute and you could just feel the energy from everyone.
They had a surprise during dinner when the Singing waiters made their appearance and the guests turned the energy up a notch with everyone getting up to dance along, then after dinner the saxophonist started playing making sure everyone continued the party!
Honestly the vibe at this wedding was spectacular and we all had the best day!
Shannon & Graham at Harelaw Farm
Shannon and Graham get married at Harelaw Farm.
This was my first time at Harelaw Farm and I was excited to see what this venue had to offer. Shannon and her 8 bridesmaids…yes 8, were getting ready in the farmhouse which had lots of space to accommodate their Spice Girl dance routines. The girls were on top form from the morning which set the vibe for the day.
The weather however was messing with us. It started to downpour heavily with almost black skies so I was already scoping out where I would take the pictures inside.
The ceremony was beautiful, relaxed and fun thanks to Celebrant Niki Smith who also brought her broom for the couple to jump over, this is an old Scottish tradition.
After the ceremony the weather had took a turn for the better and out popped the sun so we were on our toes quickly to get our outside shots before it started again. We had a brilliant laugh and were windswept but everyone lapped it up and just enjoyed themselves. Shannon & Graham had smoke flares to use and the pictures are incredible from them.
The happy couple even got to feed the highland Coo’s although Graham took the lead and Shannon looked on in laughter. After the photoshoot it was time for the most amazing dinner at Harelaw Farm which has to be experienced to be believed!
Everyone finished the night off in the barn having a good old dance!
