FAQs

How do I book my wedding photography?

If I have confirmed that your date is available and you are happy with my style of photography and pricing structure then you can go ahead and book directly through the pay deposit page on this website. Easy!

How much deposit do you require?

I require a £200 non refundable retainer fee to secure your date. This will be taken off your final balance when you pay the total 12 weeks before your wedding.

How many images will I get with my package?

All of my collections include a beautiful USB of your high resolution images that you are free to print and share. An average wedding from bridal preparation until the 3rd dance usually has 400 or more images. Each wedding is unique so depending on each couple it may vary a little.

How long after the wedding does it take to get my pictures?

I always aim to have the finished USB and slideshow out around 3 weeks after the wedding. At peak times though this may be a bit longer. I normally post a preview of your highlights on my social media pages shortly after the wedding. Album designs are normally sent out 6 weeks after the wedding.

How long have you been photographing weddings?

I have been photographing weddings for 17 years and in this time I have photographed around 400 weddings throughout Scotland.

Is it okay to re schedule my wedding if I need to?

Yes, I completely understand that life happens and sometimes we have to juggle things around to suit us better. I am happy to re schedule your date providing I am still available for your new date. If I am not available then the retainer fee paid at the time of booking is non refundable.

If you move your wedding more than 12 months away, you would need to pay any price difference in the package you chose to reflect that years prices.

What happens if you are sick on my wedding day?

To date, I have never had to miss a wedding. However if something happened that meant I could not photograph your wedding then rest assured a suitable replacement would be appointed. I am lucky enough to have worked in this industry for 17 years and I am friends with an elite group of wedding photographers in Lanarkshire who are always at hand to help each other out in emergencies.

Are you insured?

Yes.

Do you require a meal on the day?

Although I don’t include this in my terms and conditions, I am always very grateful when a meal is provided. It means I can stay at the venue without having to out source food (this can sometimes be a few miles away depending on the venue). It is normally an early start and late finish for me so having a short break to refuel before the evening photos is essential.

Do you always post your pictures on social media?

No, I don’t post every wedding on social media. If you are happy to have you’re images shared then just let me know and likewise if you are not too keen.

Do you need me to give you a list of pictures I would like?

No. I will meet with you both around 12 weeks before the wedding to confirm timings and all the finer details of the day. This is when I will create your V.I.P list with you. It is always best to keep your group shots to a minimum.
